Mercedes CLS 350 - 2008

Before you call or ask me any questions about the car, please read this description carefully.

I am selling my CLS 350 that has 119,000 km. The car was babied and taken care of by a self proclaimed "car guy". A few things have been fixed or replaced in the car:
1- a new Bosch battery with 1 year warranty
2- A new fuel pump (hella)
3- A new fuel filter (VDO)
4- A new break light switch (VDO)
5- OEM air intake & cabin filters

Tires are ok and still have a bit of life in them, as well as the break pads.

The car is a blast to drive and has served me well while i had it. The engine and gearbox are in really good condition. However, i am selling it because i plan to upgrade to the 5.4L V8 CLS 55. Which brings me to the following issues that i couldn't be arsed to fix, as i decided to upgrade to another car.

There are a few issues present in the car, which was taken into account when considering the price. the following points is everything that is wrong with the car:

1- intake manifold flap is stuck in the closed position. This is a very common problem found in the w211 (E class) & w219 (CLS class). This is the reason the check engine light is on. a used working intake manifold should cost around AED 400 and labour is around 2-3 hours

2- N93 module (central gateway module) has gone bad, and needs to be replaced. This module is responsible for managing electronic networks in the car. This is also why the ESP, ABS, and SRS lights are on, on the dashboard. A used module costs AED 150, and a new one costs AED 800. either ways you decide to go, the module must be programmed.

3- Due to the issue addressed in point 1, the car runs a little rich. costing around 3 kms/L. Fixing the intake manifold flap should fix this issue.

4- minor cosmetic defects like, the driver seat's leather is a bit worn (natural for a car this age), mirror's paint is bubbling (doesn't effect anything but the way it looks), car's headlights are faded (again, natural for a car this age)

other than that, the car is perfect and has been serviced on time and well taken care of. As mentioned above, these issues were taken into account while setting the price. Feel free to inspect the car at any garage you'd like.
That being said, price can be slightly negotiable AFTER viewing the car & for serious buyers.
