Job Description:

We are seeking a CAD/CAM Technician responsible for preparing files for AC duct production, ensuring accuracy, and supporting operations. The main task involves entering data into CAM software and generating files for CNC machines.

We welcome both experienced candidates and juniors with basic AutoCAD skills who are eager to learn CAD/CAM. If you have the skills, great! If not, we will provide training.

English proficiency is required. Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, or other regional languages is advantageous. Arabic is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Create 3D drawings for HVAC products such as dampers, louvers, ducts, and enclosures.

Prepare CAD/CAM files and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for production and order processing.

Perform quantity take-offs using CAD MEP and CAM Duct software and generate quotations based on BOQ/shop drawings in the ERP system.

Manage technical documentation for sales and engineering departments and collaborate with department heads to align projects with production capabilities.

Supervise the production process to ensure cut and assembled components match the drawings.

Monitor the assembly team to ensure quality (e.g., locking seams, riveting, sealing).

Coordinate between the office and production to ensure smooth workflow.

Resolve technical and production issues by adjusting drawings and processes as needed.

Collaborate with clients to obtain approvals for technical drawings and provide technical support for HVAC products.

Ensure CAD/CAM files are compatible with production machinery and that appropriate hardware and materials are selected.

Prepare production-ready drawings and explain them to the production team.

Maintain and update software and technical databases.

Requirements:

Proficiency in English (for communication within the office and with engineers).

Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software – ability to read and create drawings.

Basic understanding of HVAC production processes – training will be provided.

Attention to detail – accuracy in data entry and production supervision.

Willingness to collaborate with the production team – ability to convey clear instructions.

Driver’s license – preferred.

Preferred skills:

Familiarity with CAM Duct, Fusion 360, SheetCAM, or similar production software.

Experience in HVAC or duct production.

Proficiency in Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, or other regional languages.

Arabic language skills – an additional advantage.
